Godrej Properties Wins Bid for Gurugram Housing Plots
Godrej Properties, one of India’s leading real estate developers. They have won the bid to acquire two group housing plots in Gurugram, Haryana. The company plans to develop luxury housing projects on these plots. It is a potential saleable area of 1.2 million square feet.
How Godrej Acquired the Plots
The company secured the letter of intent from the Haryana Shehri Vikash Pradhikaran (HSVP). Formerly known as the Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA), through an e-auction process. The bid amount was around Rs 450 crore, according to media reports.
What Godrej Properties Plans to Offer
The company said that the projects will offer premium amenities and facilities to homebuyers. The goal is to cater to the market’s high-end segment. The projects will have a combined area of 12.5 acres in Sector 65 and Sector 83 of Gurugram.
The company expects to generate a revenue of Rs 3,100 crore. Expected time period for these projects is over the next four to five years.
